Steve Lightstone – President

Steve Lightstone Steve founded Corner Office Leads in 2002 and is currently responsible for company operations, for the ongoing development and evolution of Corner Office Leads’ methodologies, and for all client engagements.

Steve has been involved in Sales and Marketing for over 25 years helping organizations including IBM, SAP, Microsoft, CGI, Oracle and Peat Marwick. Steve’s personal management experience, and his extensive work with senior executives in Fortune 1000 companies across North America gives him a unique understanding of how these busy executives think.

At these companies and others, Steve developed and fine-tuned a unique approach to selling high and feeding sales funnels, culminating in a project producing EVP level meetings with 84% of the targets – in four months. Corner Office Leads was established to bring this approach to the broader community of sales organizations wanting to sell high.

Steve has been profiled as a “Thought Leader” by the FunnelHolic and his methodologies have been the subject of articles in Marketing Sherpa and MarketingProfs.

Steve is involved with Canada’s young entrepreneurial community advising three start-up companies, the Impact Entrepreneurship Group, and Epic Conferences. At gatherings like the Canadian Undergraduate Technology Conference he speaks about entrepreneurship, business start-ups, and sales and marketing. Steve is involved with the University of Waterloo’s Enterprise Co-op program and is a mentor to over a dozen aspiring young entrepreneurs. He welcomes young people to meet with him one-on-one.

Steve earned his Honours Bachelor of Mathematics, Computer Science and Business at the University of Waterloo and currently represents Math Alumni on the University’s Alumni Council.
